Review by W.M.W. correspondant, Der Komissar: “Sometimes white music hits you like a kick in the nuts. But in a good way. Take, for example, this album. It’s technically an EP, made of 6 songs (and 2 bonus cover songs). The whole thing lasts just 30 minutes. But it’s a half-hour of pure, unfiltered Trent Reznor anger and aggression. This music isn’t for everyone, but if nothing else, it’ll get your heart pumping.
Two further notes about this album:
1) “Wish” won a Grammy in 1993 for Best Metal Performance. I haven’t fully researched this, but I’d bet dollars to donuts (whatever that phrase means) that it’s the only Grammy-winning song to ever include the lyric “fist fuck.”
2) The video for “Happiness in Slavery” is arguably the most nauseating video ever made. It stars legendary sadomasochist Bob Flanagan, fully nude, as he basically gets his skin clawed off in a torture chamber. It was almost universally banned, for good reason. If you think you can stomach it, watch it here… but don’t say I didn’t warn you.”

Holyoke (MA) Police Chief, Anthony Scott, says that last week, a postal inspector alerted Police about a package that was to be delivered to a house at 193 Essex Street because they believed it contained illegal drugs. Investigators obtained a search warrant and they opened the package to find that a kilo of cocaine hidden inside a whole hollowed-out bologna, says Scott, noting that officers then went undercover Thursday and delivered the package to 193 Essex Street. The package was signed for by a woman who was sitting on the front porch and a male suspect, identified as Juan Rodriguez (left). It was then that they arrested Rodriguez and confiscated $125 in cash, a semi-automatic pistol, and fifteen rounds of ammo
The package had been screened as part of a open investigation surrounding the trafficking of drugs from Puerto Rico into various cities in the country.
